The Misadventures of Rowdie’s Knights grew on me pretty quickly. I admit, the sexual humor in it turned me off at first. I don’t tend to run that stuff, what with us being a family blog and everything. But as I watched a few more of the episodes, I just absolutely had to get this series in front of you all. Why?
First, the voice acting is incredibly strong. It’s been a while since I’ve seen a series with an ensemble of effective voice actors. They might not be ready for prime time cartoons, but the cast is effective, clear, and convincing. Second, the scripting, narration, and dialogue feels purposeful and striding; the story seems like it’s going somewhere.
So while this won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, this is the kind of quality production we need to see more of. Thanks to MasterVertex for the tip!
